The Mercyhurst Men’s Basketball Alumni are excited to announce the 2nd annual Mercyhurst Lakers Men’s Alumni Basketball Game in Erie, Pennsylvania. This game will take place on Saturday September 29^th, 2007 in the Mercyhurst Athletics Center (MAC). This game will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Erie and all raffle ticket sales and 50/50 ticket sales from the event will be donated to this charity. All Mercyhurst students will be allowed free admission with their Student ID. Anyone 14 and up, without a college ID, the ticket is $1 per person. Tickets will be available on the night of the game at Mercyhurst College.

The event will feature a total of 16 former men’s players – from 1995-2006. The alumni players will participate with several of the current Mercyhurst players in a 3-points contest, dunk contest, and the alumni will play each other in a full game. During half time, fans will be allowed to participate in a number of contests and a silent auction bid on a few big ticket items, such as celebrity and sports autographed pictures and memorabilia. A majority of the money raised by the contests and auctions will also benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
