Keith Nies Bio

Keith Nies Bio: Graduated from Mercyhurst College in 2000 with a dual degree in elementary education and special education. Started my teaching career the following school year at Fairview Middle School, teaching 5th, 6th, and 7th grade learning support for 1 year. In 2002, was moved to Fairview Elementary School to teach 3rd and 4th grade learning support and also 1-4th grade emotional support. Have taught there for a total of 5 years. The 2006-2007 school year will be the start of my 6th teaching year. I also will be entering my 6th year as head varsity boys basketball coach at Fairview High School. In my five years of coaching, Fairview has reached the playoffs 3 years including the district 10 semi-finals 2 of those years. I reside in Erie PA, single, and living in my own house.
